EYES ON AFRICA

My senior year of college, I decided I wanted to test my chops and put my electronic media degree to good use. After doing a bit of research, I found a non-profit organization based in California who was sponsoring various projects in Tanzania that piqued my interest. My friend Jamie had graduated a year earlier with a degree in journalism, and we decided to offer our services to Global Partners for Development. We raised money to fund our travel, and embarked on a two week journey with a group of sponsors to show how their money and resources were being allocated.

This is a lo-res clip about primary school education from our documentary Eyes on Africa. All footage and scripting was shot and edited by Jamie and myself. The documentary was played nationwide in the United States on the Starfish Network.
